The stone tablet bearing the name HERMES has been carved into the basalt base for decades – set by the builder himself. The name has stayed; the house is being made new: room for up to five people, quiet spaces to retreat to, and a large table for everyone who comes together.

The Moselle, the Eifel and the Middle Rhine Valley are right on the doorstep, with castles, vineyards and hiking trails nearby. Cologne, Luxembourg and Frankfurt are within about an hour by car.
